Biography
Originally from Setúbal, he graduated in Law in 2002 and has been practicing as a Lawyer for nearly two decades. With a well-established career and a profile recognized and respected by his clients, peers, and other judicial agents, he has maintained an intense professional activity across various areas of Law. In 2017, he founded DML – SOCIEDADE DE ADVOGADOS SP RL, where he serves as managing partner and practices his profession independently.
He is also notable for his strong and consistent civic engagement, particularly in defending fundamental rights and the ethical-social principles of the legal profession and the pursuit of justice. With significant involvement in associativism, especially in sports, he has undertaken the following roles: President of the Portimão Delegation of the Portuguese Bar Association, a position he has held since February 15, 2023, after having served as Secretary since February 13, 2020; President of the General Assembly Board of Vitória Futebol Clube since December 28, 2020; Vice-President of Clube Naval de Portimão since June 30, 2018; President of the General Assembly Board of the Tennis and Padel Club of Portimão (CTPP) since June 21, 2021; and President of the Faro Regional Directorate of the National Association of Young Portuguese Lawyers (ANJAP) from 2009 to 2012.
He is also widely recognized for his continuous and marked support for various causes and pro bono practice, having contributed to the establishment and/or monitoring of the activities of numerous institutions, among which stand out Associação Flor Amiga, Associação dos Deficientes Motor de Portimão, Associação de Promoção do Desporto Adaptado, AlgarveGYM (trampoline gymnastics), Associação Grupo Coral Adágio, Algarve4Runners, and GISA – Grupo de Intervenção e Sensibilização Ambiental.
